It’s make or break time for Donald Trump.

He’s done. Finished. Kaput.

What follows is what is to fear. Nature and evil both abhor a vacuum. Politics is certainly not the natural world, so evil is about to rush in.

It is true that Donald Trump was the great white hope. Not white in the sense of race but in the very sense of hope. Hope to right the ship of the Republic to sail further into a future of American rebirth and righteousness, of freedom and the pursuit of happiness for every sovereign individual making up a sovereign nation to light the way for the rest of the world.

But Jeffrey Epstein and the panoply of demons he represents has risen from the grave or the ashes to grab Trump by the short hairs and drag him down to the nine circles of Hell.

The Trump administration came in like a bull in a china shop, immediately cracking down on illegal alien felons, sealing the border, and issuing a string of executive orders that unraveled the manifold ways that Barack Obama’s third term, the illegitimate Biden presidency, had worked to undermine the American way.

And up until and even including in part this past week, Trump has redirected the government away from its wreckage and back to being of, for, and by the people. He nixed the tranny trash. His appointments, especially RFK Jr, were stellar, and already the madness of big pharma has been checked if not stopped. Trump’s other great appointment, Scott Bessent, has done a masterful job implementing the tariffs, all the while quashing inflation. And Marco Rubio has been a brilliant choice for Secretary of State.

All in all, Trump has made great strides in recalibrating the bureaucracy to be value-added rather than value-drained. He at least talked and worked for peace, even if he could not force peace. And just last week, he called Netanyahu’s bluff by bombing Iran’s supposed nuclear facilities, then calling off the dogs.

But the Big Beautiful Bill, while portrayed as a win because of varous high points like funding for the wall, was no win for his base. The spending is astronomical and the saving is only on the come.

The war in Ukraine, an inevitable win for Russia if not a nuclear disaster for the world, rages on and we keep feeding weapons and money into it. The Middle East is still a caldron while Netanyahu regroups to make the case for regime change in Iran, for even without the nuclear threat, the mullahs still feed every kind of mischief and terrorism from Hamas to the Houthis.

Already Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, two megastars of the resistance to the corruption of the DOJ, had been humiliated by claiming that Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide. It was obvious to any informed observer that they were forced to do so. But then this week there was the embarrassing display at the cabinet meeting by Trump himself, mocking a reporter who asked a legitimate question and acting as if the Epstein story was a trifle, followed by Pam Bondi’s sounding like a teenager shucking and jiving to shift blame away from her own failure to follow through with the Epstein files.

Trump is tough as nails and smart as a whip. He knows, and all Americans know who understand that their government has been hijacked by nefarious interests – call them the Deep State, the globalists, the communists, the corporatists, the technocrats, or what you will – that what went down on Epstein’s Island and elsewhere in his dealings with the rich and powerful, is the very key to untying that Gordian Knot.

With Covid as Trump 45, he was played. With Epstein, he will be owned. The signs are there already in Ukraine, in the Middle East, in the unrestrained spending, in the growing whispers about mass amnesty… The executive orders are just window dressing if the government is not rescued from the unelected special interests and the big things do not get enshrined into law. And the rule of law is a pipe dream if the perps who break it are not prosecuted, no matter their stations in life.

If Donald Trump does not correct his course immediately and irrevocably by coming clean on the Epstein issue, his and our worst nightmare is about to come true: Trump 47 will go down the drain as no more and no less than Biden’s second term. And any hope for making American great again will go with it.
