You know you’re in trouble when the president of Mexico makes more sense than the president of the United States. Of course, that’s not saying much. Joe Biden was a spineless crook to begin with, but now he’s just a doddering old fool and you’ve got to have some pity for him. He can hardly put a coherent sentence together, he can’t climb stairs, he often thinks his V.P. already has his job, and he needs lots of naps. It is no wonder that already not three months in, his so-called leadership has earned for America the world’s disdain thanks to the incompetent handling of illegal immigrants surging across our border.

On the other hand, Tío AMLO is Andrés Manuel López Obrador, president of Mexico. He’s no Trump, not at least in terms of social policy. For example, his approach to warring with the cartels is “hugs not bullets.” He is generally considered a center-left progressive. Originally he opposed Trump’s wall. But quickly he came to see that it made sense for both countries as a deterrent to the constant flow back and forth of drugs and weapons across Mexico. So he tightened security at Mexico’s southern border and stationed troops at the border with the U.S., participating in the Trump administration’s “Remain in Mexico” program that kept asylum seekers in Mexico while the U.S. processed their requests.

All this good work and cooperation between the U.S. and Mexico is what Uncle Joe has undone. The disastrous result is what is happening at the border now. It is so awful, so inhumane, such a clustermuck that even reporters sympathetic to the  Biden administration are not allowed in.

Tío AMLO has a long record of pragmatic, citizen-centered politics in Mexico. It took him three times to get elected president, fighting massive voter fraud from the entrenched parties the whole way. Finally winning the mess that is Mexico in 2018, he has fought tirelessly to bring the country around.

The DNC took the presidency for Joe Biden using a combination of vote fraud and duping of its base. The base is waking up now. They see that what is happening at the border is not the empathy they thought Trump lacked. And they have this nagging feeling that fighting voter suppression is not what won the election for Uncle Joe. It will take true patriots among the misguided Democrat electorate, as well as conservatives, to “true the vote” and recover our way as a sovereign democratic republic.

Whether it’s Trumpsters in 2022 and Trump in 2024 or someone else, America needs a patriot with the character and  backbone of Tío AMLO to lead the country back from the leftist extremists.

And now for something completely different.

You don’t have to live like that – in your cave, scared of your fellow man, watching every word, holding your breath. You can escape to the Wild Wild West – West Middle Tennessee, that is.

It’s an easy escape. From downtown Nashville, head west on Highway 70 (aka Charlotte Pike), the first state road in Tennessee. Pass through Pegram. slip by Kingston Springs, and take a right at the McDonald’s in White Bluff to follow Highway 47 to Charlotte, birth home of basketball great the Big O, Oscar P. Robertson. Take another right when you hit Highway 48. At the three way stop, make it a four-way by stopping in at Sweet Charlotte for a popcorn snack and a vintage soda pop. Then up the hill a bit and if it is breakfast or lunch time, get the best diner food anywhere at the Courtside Cafe.

Heck, since you’re not pressed for time, go over a block or two to see the historic Charlotte town square which features one of the oldest courthouses in Tennessee, a beautiful structure set into the hill. Forrest’s rangers mounted attacks on the railroad from there until Grant had enough of it and put a contingent of the U.S. Colored Troops in charge of the town. The Yankees’ supply line from west Tennessee was kept rolling under their guard.

Now head back over to 48, go left at the town’s one traffic light onto Highway 49 and you are on the road to Vanleer! Take your time because the road is curvy as it passes gorgeous working farms down into the valley, much of which is populated by Mennonites. Coming out of the valley in about ten minutes, you will pass on the right Country Gardens, an excellent greenhouse compound if you’re in the market for live flowers or getting ready to plant your vegetable garden. And then you enter the town of Vanleer, NOT Van Leer. You’ll have to work on the correct emphasis to pass as a local. But at worst you’ll get a sympathetic smile if you pronounce it as two words.

Vanleer is a jewel unto itself in a bed of nature’s plenty. Check out the delightful, whimsically stocked antique stores on the main drag. Debra’s (the green building above) also serves breakfast and lunch. Even if you’ve just eaten in Charlotte, you’ll want to eat again.

Saturdays when Tubby’s is open, you’ll often find a chainsaw artist making amazing sculptures out of wood next door.

The new enterprise is Dr. Schrock’s Chiropractic and Mercantile in an old, beautifully remodeled church around the bend from the main drag. Even if you don’t want a bona fide adjustment, their friendly greeting and excellent coffee and healthy snacks will leave you smiling.

If you love local history, research the name Vanleer and discover its intriguing connection to the eccentric ironworks genius of the early 1800s, Montgomery Bell. You’ll find enough about his story elsewhere on the internet, but what you won’t find easily is that he was way ahead of his time, helping his slaves to freedom and if they wished, to return to Africa, and, well, tending to cohabitate with them. In fact, retracing your tracks to Kingston Springs you will see a sign marking Bell Town, a settlement populated by his and his paramour’s (not sure if that should be plural) descendants. You may also be surprised to find out that Bell’s endowment for his namesake academy in Nashville stipulated that it be for underprivileged kids.

There’s still an old A.M.E. church standing in Bell Town where Stokley Carmichael is said to have been elected leader of SNCC. Many of the workers killed in the infamous Dutchman’s Curve train crash in west Nashville were commuting in from Bell Town. And just down from Bell Town, visit Narrows of the Harpeth State Park to see not only evidence of Bell’s prodigious engineering skills, but also from the cliff above it, one of the most beautiful panoramas of Middle Tennessee countryside.

It’s a shame you have to go back to the big city. Nashville is still one of the friendliest, prettiest cities anywhere, but a trip into the Wild West will teach you how Nashville got that way and free you from its traffic and stifling restrictions. In Vanleer and its many sibling towns along the way, you will reach a whole ‘nother level of folks who will look you in the eye, greet you warmly, talk your ears off, maybe even strum a guitar and break into song… and not give a flip if you wear a mask or don’t. You will find yourself breathing easier. And loving where we live. Nashville. Tennessee. The U.S.A. C’mon, as Uncle Joe says. C’mon out of your cave one of these fine spring days and a have nice time out our way. It will quite likely be the best thing you’ve done in at least a year.

After all, there had never really been a fascist takeover of a nation before. That the educated, sophisticated, orderly, and relatively wealthy Germans of the 1930s could be duped into following a cabal of racist, violent, rapacious Nazis into disaster is easier to forgive than the super-informed society of today as it rapidly falls victim to fascist ideology.

Today’s Americans – and by extension, the European democratic republics and other advanced nations – are well familiar with the process by which Hitler rose from obscurity, disrupting a weak democracy and then consolidating corporate and military power into a brutal, profitable, almost unstoppable tyrannical machine.

Ever since World War II, comparisons to Nazi Germany have been hurled at political leaders on the left and the right relentlessly as a check to their ambitions. An unending stream of books and movies and journalism has dissected the 1930s ad infinitum.

And yet, when actual fascism rises within our own midst, we sit quietly by like the middle class Jews of 1937 in Europe who despite the signs all around them, still would not believe that man’s inhumanity to man could reach the depths that soon had them carted like cattle in box cars to remote locations to be incinerated.

The signs of another wave of fascism are all around us today. At first when we heard that major cultural icons like Google or the NBA or even the Catholic Church were seeking to operate within China, we assumed that would be a good thing, an opening of a brutal closed society to ideas of freedom and opportunity and the pursuit of happiness. And yet today we see that Google aids and abets the the propaganda of the Chinese Communist Party (the CCP); that the NBA squelches all criticism of China within its ranks, like Ford Motor Company of the 1930s which supported the Nazis hoping for exclusive distribution throughout Europe; and that even the Catholic Church, despite its very suspect record re collaboration with the Nazis, allows the CCP to appoint its Chinese bishops while Christian churches in general are being persecuted and in fact, snuffed out.

And meanwhile, the CCP puts hundreds of thousands of “undesirables” in concentration camps, jails and deports opposition in Hong Kong, and builds its military and territorial domination relentlessly. Stateside, the Democrat Party (the DNC) appeases the CCP and other enemies of America around the world, cancelling investigation of China’s spy network and looking the other way from bribes and kickbacks at work within the political elite. And the DNC even emulates the CCP bastards, pushing senseless mask mandates and vaccine passports among other outrages in an obvious rehearsal of further incursions on the Bill of Rights to come in short order.

In the true story depicted in the 2002 film The Pianist, there is a pivotal scene in which the middle class Jewish family of the title character, Wladislaw Szpilman, learns for the first time of the Nazi regulations mandating the wearing of the Jewish star on armbands in public in occupied Warsaw. Wladislaw and his brother, normally at each other’s throats, both swear they will never wear the armband, while the rest of the family meekly submits. The brother is arrested for resisting clumsily, and he and rest of the family are incinerated at Treblinka. Only Wladislaw, through wile and bravado and help from righteous key people who recognize his genius and the evil zeroing in on him, survives the Nazi occupation.

What example are we to follow? Will the American goose be cooked by the occupation of an illegitimate administration, a feckless and corrupt Congress, and a supine Court, or will we follow Wladislaw’s example and through every possible means subvert the will of the oppressors at home and abroad? We have the lesson from history. The Europeans of the 1930s did not. One can only hope their sacrifice serves as our inspiration.

And y’all and y’uns are flippin’ nuts if you don’t know what sex you are. (And yes, the word is sex, not gender. The latter is a grammatical term, the former is biological.)

Nothing better exemplifies the Left’s cynical disdain for the truth more than the absolutely absurd push to normalize the mental illness that they call the LGBTQ movement.

There are real-world consequences to this insanity. Of course, biological males’ competing in women’s sports is patently unfair. (Who are these cross-dressing creeps, anyway? How can they live with themselves posing as women to win at sports? Were these guys never taught it is not right to take advantage of a girl? Are they so delusional that they can proudly take home a first place medal knowing that it is all a sham?)

Sports, however, is just one aspect of the problem. Responsible parents know that you have to be really, really vigilant to keep your children away from sexual predators. But the LGBTQ madness, operating under the guise of a civil rights movement, opens the doors for the same aforementioned creeps to supervise children – doors to bathrooms, locker rooms, camp cabins, and sleepovers. In a sane world, children are supervised in bedroom and bathroom only by their parents or heterosexual adults of their same sex. Why? Because sexual attraction of male to male or female to female is not the way of nature; nor is,God forbid, adult to child. These natural standards of supervision are the safest path in our most important responsibility as human beings: raising children.

Your rights end where others’ begin. By extension, if the children aren’t protected, then your chosen behavior is not a right. At home with other consenting adults, your behavior is covered by your right to privacy. But once it involves children, it is no longer a right but a perversion.

If you believe the lie that the LGBTQ movement is about civil rights, then there is no limit to the lies you’ll believe: That human activity causes global warming. That walls don’t work. That raising the minimum wage helps more people than it hurts. That capitalism is evil. That contrary opinions are lies. That racism is the hallmark of America. That there was an insurrection on January 6. And of course, the biggest lie that has forced all this upon the nation: That Joseph Biden won the presidential election fair and square.

You either have an innie or an outie, but there is something at least to the “Q” in LGBTQ. Question, yes. But rather than questioning your sexual orientation, it makes much more sense to question what you hear about sex – and everything else – from the creeps in charge of the country these days.

If somebody were to tell you they’re giving your child a vaccine to protect against polio, you’d have a reasonable expectation your kid wouldn’t get polio, right? You wouldn’t think it was much of a vaccine if it promised only to cripple your child in one leg, not both, right? Or if it had unforeseen side effects? 

Right. The polio vaccine, as the many effective, true vaccines that followed did in similar fashion for their targeted scourges, wiped out polio. The shots for the Wuhan Virus being pushed on the public now do no such thing. In fact, they only seem to do one thing, and not even 100% at that: reduce the symptoms.

The literature handed out with the Pfizer shots says only that it has “been shown to prevent” the virus in a study. But “the duration of protection against COVID-19 is currently unknown.” In fact it states the shots don’t even contain the weakened virus, the hallmark of how true vaccines actually work.

So…

Whatever good the shots do is temporary.

The effectiveness is unknown.

And the duration is unknown.

Thus you can’t count on the shots keeping you from being contagious.

And so the shots do not stop the spread of the virus.

And in fact they may encourage it, including mutations, by giving people a false sense of security. Let’s have a study of bona fide deaths from the virus in vulnerable populations who’ve had the shots.

For all the hoopla about the so-called vaccines, the only good they seem to do is to reduce the symptoms in the vulnerable populations. They are like getting a cortisone shot to reduce your back pain. The cortisone gives you mobility for a while, but you still have a bad back. With what we now know about other palliatives and early treatment regimens, the so-called vaccine is hardly more helpful now than respirators ever were.

And better yet, all this effort put into shots and masks and quarantines and contact tracing could be much more effectively used to educate sickly individuals on eating better, exercising more, and avoiding bad habits so they can handle viruses better in general. Especially now that the virus has mostly played itself out, overblown as it has been all along.

While they are saying it’s killed 500,000 Americans in the last year, there hasn’t been anywhere near an equivalent increase in the overall death count of Americans. Sounds like there have been more than a few clerical errors in counting virus deaths, now doesn’t it? But if the death count doesn’t keep mounting, the Wuhan virus damnpanic can’t be sustained and that’s bad for business. Including political monkey business.

The drug companies making the shots, public health bureaucrats, and control-crazed politicians are counting on your not realizing these very basic facts. They want you to think you’re getting a vaccine, not just an injected palliative. There’s a heck of a lot of money involved. Not to mention, a la the CCP and their social scoring mania, forcing “vaccinations” on every living soul is a heck of a good way to separate the compliant from the uncooperative.

 If you think this cabal that makes up our supposed “public health establishment” is on your side, think again. Just think Zantac. Think Thalidomide. Think Bill Gates’ botched vaccine experiment in India.

If you are not in the vulnerable population, there are serious reasons to question the rationale for having these sera injected into your bloodstream. The shots were developed using new, speculative technology that messes with your RNA. The shots have not gone through the full range of FDA testing and approvals for long-term safety. And if something does go wrong with your shots, thanks to federal law, there’s nobody you – or your survivors – can sue. Basically there is just a complaint department. It’s right there in that literature mentioned before. Good luck with that.

We old folks don’t have so much to lose. Have another drink. Smoke another cigar. Have another piece of cheesecake. Get the shots. Life is short for us anyway. But for younger folks, especially those who intend to bear or father children, think again.

It’s still a relatively free country. At this point, you can mostly still make decisions about your own health and your children’s. Get the shots if you want. But know these shots are not what you understand to be vaccines. They do nothing to stop the virus. They affect your RNA. You don’t know how that might be passed down in your genes. And the same folks who foisted this virus upon the world are the ones so anxious for you to take their shots now.

Who? W.H.O. The puppet of China ably assisted by Dr. Fauci and the C.D.C. and now the Biden Junta. They are no more about health than the shots are about vaccination.

It’s hard to imagine more different individuals than Jimmy Carter and Joe Biden.

Before becoming President, Jimmy Carter served as a nuclear sub engineer in the U.S. Navy, came home to Georgia and grew a successful small business, then entered small town politics and worked his way up to the governorship of Georgia. Along the way, Carter proved himself to be a man of virtue and ideals. Still to this day he does good works and has more top-ten finishes of Gallup’s annual poll of most admired American man than anyone except Billy Graham and Carter’s successor as President, Ronald Reagan.

Biden, on the other hand, is a lifelong creature of the Swamp. He showed an early knack for cobbling together voters for a succession of federal offices culminating in a Senate seat, the Vice-Presidency, and finally, his assuming the Presidency now. Along the way, Biden has said whatever necessary to keep office, has enriched his family and friends through graft and kickbacks, and now in the years of his physical and mental decline, he is the Left’s string puppet for continuing the sabotage of American exceptionalism begun by the Obama administration in 2009.

Where Jimmy Carter and Joe Biden are alike is this: They both benefited from a backlash election. Jimmy Carter was swept into office in 1976 by the voters’ reaction to the humiliation of our retreat from Vietnam and Richard Nixon’s sin of lying about the Watergate scandal. In 2020, leveraging the social media trope “Orange man bad” with the Leftist base, a cabal of corporate and Swamp creatures maneuvered Biden into office.

In a normal year with normal political forces at work, neither Carter nor Biden would stand a chance at election.

Well-meaning as he was, Carter proved his inability to lead the country effectively in office and was promptly voted out by a landslide four years later. But what about Biden? Will the American people be able to vote Biden out, or more likely his replacement, the totally inexperienced and unpopular Kamala Harris? Or if those two actually surprise us all and do a good job, can we be sure they will be legitimately re-elected?

The answer is emphatically NO. Given the questions about the 2020 election, we cannot be sure at all that there will ever be another clean significant election in the United States. Yet there seems to be a dome of silence over the whole issue. At most, pundits keep saying that the Republicans will be more ready next time! We’ll have poll watchers everywhere! State legislatures will tighten up the laws!

Fat chance that any of that is going to work. It is all vague wishfulness. If there are indeed forces at work in the American system intent on subverting the American democratic republic for their own profit, you can bet they are not sitting around wishing. They have been hard at work finding ways to rig the system harder in their favor. Many of us believe 2020 was their first big coup at it and they will not rest on their laurels.

And no wonder everyone is afraid to talk about it. Key challengers have been threatened and indeed served with billion dollar lawsuits by the cartel that has control of nearly all the voting apparatus used throughout the country to tally results, and on the other hand those who even dare question the results are shut down by the platforms they rely upon to get their views out.

But there is one way to ensure we get legitimate election results. The Founding Fathers recognized that the forces of tyranny were always a threat to democracies, and that tyranny tended to grow in mobs. That is why they created a government with a Congress composed of both a Senate and a House of Representatives and with the Electoral College to protect minority interests, to keep the mobsters from always having their way over the many. As an ultimate protection, they included in Article V of the Constitution a way for Constitutional amendments to grow from the states themselves rather than from Congress, which they rightly imagined was prone to corruption.

Why is an amendment necessary? Because it is not subject to legal review, it cannot be watered down by secondary measures passed by Congress, it cannot be subverted: an amendment IS THE LAW.  Thus, if we want election integrity, we must make it the law of the land by enshrining it in a Constitutional amendment. Let’s call it the Voter’s Rights Amendment (the VRA) because its goal is to ensure that every vote counts – that one citizen’s vote is not cancelled out by a false vote somewhere else.

The VRA should have 100% nonpartisan support. Anyone against it has to have an ax to grind – money to be made or power to be had off crooked elections. The presumption is that 99% of American citizens whether Democrat or Republican or anywhere else on the spectrum are honest and want their government to be honest as well. All should support a VRA, not just to give them an honest chance at governing, but to make sure when they win, they have the support of all voters, not just the “winners.”

Details of the VRA need to be hammered out as with any other legislative proposal to ensure that it applies to all fairly and effectively, but here are some starting principles: A voter ID requirement. Single day, in-person voting except by validated absentee ballot. Paper balloting. And manual tabulation, always filmed, witnessed, and sealed by local law enforcement.

And here’s the good news: Although ratifying Constitutional amendments that originate from the states is a complicated and normally slow-moving process, much of the work to make it possible has already been done by the Convention of States movement. Visit the site. Educate yourself about it. And contact your local pundits, elected officials, and fellow citizens to get the ball rolling on the VRA. Whether your next vote will count depends on it.

Anyone and everyone who tells you there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 federal elections is either lying to you or willfully ignorant.

All the information needed to get out of the starting gate with a criminal investigation is presented in two productions released last week: Time Magazine’s boastful article “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign that Saved the 2020 Election” and Mike Lindell’s peripatetic video presentation “Absolute Proof.” (Click on the titles for direct links.) The two productions come at the issue from vastly different angles with diametrically opposed goals. Yet considered together, they explain not only how the fraud occurred, but also how attempts to reveal it were squelched.

Settle in with popcorn, a lot of patience, and a clear mind to watch “Absolute Proof.” While professionally produced, it emphasizes experts, witnesses, and evidence at the expense of production values. The video builds exactly the case that has had almost no success getting before courts (though slowly but surely the evidence has gained a toehold in a couple of jurisdictions).

On the other hand, Time writer Molly Ball describes “a well funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.” Exactly. But then she follows with a non sequitur, “They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it.”

The Time article proceeds to lay out in great detail – later perhaps regrettable detail for those who may find themselves facing the music for unwittingly or otherwise participating in a coverup – the army of anti-Trumpers assembled to suppress any pushback against the conspiracy to leave Biden the only man standing at the finish line.

Once you have digested both these remarkable efforts, the shockingly high-dollar lawsuits initiated by Dominion Voting Systems make a lot more sense. “My horse, my horse, my kingdom for a horse” – the lawsuits and threats are the horse the perpetrators of the 2020 election fraud are riding to put an end to pushback against their perfidy. It’s no nag. They are running that horse like Seabiscuit and they have no intention of giving up the kingdom they’ve created with the coup they perpetrated on the duly elected President.

Further to that, the fact that Lou Dobbs was “disappeared” this week from Fox makes a lot more sense as well. A trip down the memory hole back to when he was still on CNN provides a harbinger of things to come:

It is too late to undo the Biden Junta’s installation as the post-Trump presidency. The horse is out of the barn. However, the tools of state are still for the moment in place in the American republic even if impostors have taken the controls. Passing a Constitutional amendment is a heavy lift but it is exactly the fix needed to rid American of the virus that has honest government at risk of extinction.

By this time, most of the well-informed have heard former C.I.A. Director John Brennan’s comments revealing that the Biden Junta (the BJ) is so paranoid that even Libertarians are considered a threat to completing Barack Obama’s pledge to fundamentally change America. Mainstream Democrats who silently watched their party commit the greatest electoral fraud in the history of democracies and starry-eyed Utopians who hate Trump as the ultimate pariah are starting to reach for the Pepto-Bismol. Or worse. Something stronger will be needed before this cramp passes.

Meanwhile under threat of billion dollar lawsuits and further deplatforming, media conservatives – except for a very few stout-hearted heroes – are shucking and jiving to avoid plain speaking. Like the rest of the media, they have been neutered like the courtroom audience in “Sophie Scholl: the Final Days.” They all know the truth yet cross their arms and sit stolidly watching the spectacle so as not to be the next one guillotined.

Those who think justice will be found via the usual channels of the American system are living in a fantasy world.

The hard fact of human nature is that with extremely rare exception – such as George Washington or Christ – those who have power will not voluntarily give it up. With no checks and balances, the BJ has its foot on the accelerator. The BJ and Big Tech (with the CCP nodding approvingly in the background) have merged into a fascist fist demonizing all opposition, stifling all dissent, and ruling by fiat to suck the wind out of American exceptionalism.

Thus it does not matter how destructive or unpopular the policies of the BJ are. They own Congress and the presidency. They own the courts. They own the media. And having stolen the election from Trump (and probably certain key Senate candidates), they smugly wait for the next one when they will simply rinse and repeat.

State leaders who still believe in the American republic must immediately begin the process outlined in Article V of the Constitution to fix the corrupted election system by setting standards for federal elections: One citizen, one vote. Voter ID. In-person or absentee voting only. No early voting. Witnessed, filmed, manual tabulation of results.

If the path to election integrity is not urgently begun via Article V, then all that is left for a freedom loving people is that outlined in paragraph two of the Declaration of Independence. And nobody wants that. Except perhaps the CCP.

Much has been made of Donald Trump’s alleged propensity for lying. But when you press for specifics, what you get is plenty of examples of hyperbole but no outright lies like perhaps Obama’s biggest whopper, “If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.” Obama’s kind of “lying in state” creates bad policy by fooling the people. It’s the kind inspired by: “If you tell a lie often enough it becomes the truth.” Now that the Biden Junta (the BJ) is in power, here are the biggest whoppers we’ll hear more of ad nauseam:

Walls don’t work. If they don’t, then why did the BJ build a fence twelve feet high with concertina wire on top to keep the public out of the inauguration?

Man-made global warming. Hello, higher gas prices and hello, higher prices for every single other consumer product. Hello, more opportunity for the BJ to skim, penalize, and demonize any entity that they deem is violating the Green New Deal.

Metrics. Mark Twain famously said, “There are three kinds of lies: Lies, damned lies, and statistics.” Add “metrics” as the fourth kind. Testing is haphazard and geared toward gullible hypochondriacs. The tests themselves are notoriously unreliable. Death numbers attributed to the virus are wildly exaggerated and unaudited. And besides, just about everybody’s had the damn thing already. Yet citing “metrics” the petty tyrants have everyone hanging on the edge of their seats to see if they are allowed to come out of their caves. Isolation! Quarantine! Restaurant shutdowns! School closings! And now… mutant strains! They’re lovin’ it! The social index scorin’ BJ crowd that is, not people who need to make a living, keep their kids in school, and just live life. And the CCP is lovin’ it, too, watching America go through the biggest Chinese fire drill in history.

Masks save lives. This is part and parcel to the Metrics lie. Like all good lies, there’s an element of truth to it. Masks do save lives in a sterile environment, like a surgical ward. Real masks, not the Dixie Cup style most people are wearing. But in the world at large, the mask mandates are a joke. No science supports their effectiveness. Social distancing and hand washing are good enough, common sense practices whether the Wuhan virus is circulating or not. Note the BJ in Chief Joe Biden violated his own mask mandate the very day he proclaimed it.

Black lives matter. If they mattered so much, then maybe the BJ would do something about the hugely disproportionate number of black babies who are aborted each year. If slavery was the original sin of America, then abortion is the mortal sin. Lying that America is racist achieves two goals: It makes feeble-minded whites feel guilty for the sins of their fathers, and it makes feeble-minded minorities wallow in a victim mentality.  The BJ has played both ends against the middle to polarize the country and find an opening for their cynical, exploitative ideology.

Insurrection! After years of fruitlessly stoking racial violence trying to bait a fight, finally the BJ succeeded by using Trump’s massive peaceful protest at the mall in Washington to frame “an insurrection.” An alleged insurrection, no less, against his own government! And just when the evidence of election fraud was to be laid out in Congress in prime time. What an utterly absurd accusation. With all levers of power now in their hands, the BJ has gotten shameless about their lying.

Impeachment! The “Russian collusion” impeachment was dysfunctional. Now the guy is out of office. It’s not an impeachment; it’s a lynching, a tactic for which Democrats are historically famous. The so-called impeachment will just be hanging there. Nothing doing and doing nothing. Not the BJ, not Chuck Schumer, not even Nancy Pelosi can incite this erection.

The election was stolen. Oh, wait. That is the one thing making the rounds lately that isn’t a lie. And one way you know it’s the truth is the massive effort to suppress it.

Which is why “lying in state” now has a dual meaning when it comes to free speech, election integrity, and the Constitution. The old saw tells us that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Truth is the antidote. Hold on to the truth, fellow Americans, or the U.S.A. will be D.O.A.

Of course, the real name is “Enemy of the State.” It was made over twenty years ago, before 9-11, before the Patriot Act, and before Google, Amazon, Facebook, and the others came to own so much of our lives. Such as: If you rent the movie from Disney today to watch via Comcast, the language in it has been changed to protect the feeble-minded. It’s still English. And the new definition of feeble minded is anybody who has an independent thought. But we’ll get to that later.

For many Americans, “Enemy of the State” must have been the first notion of the erosion of Fourth Amendment rights we have all experienced to a frightening degree since Y2K. The movie graphically portrays the then-new, incredible power of cameras, microphones, and computers to track our movements, monitor our communications, and shape our lives. Once the 9-11 attacks got everyone into a fright about terrorism, it was relatively easy for the government to pass the Patriot Act making invasion of privacy legal. The brilliant TV series “24” laid out the advantages of the surveillance state in great and dramatic detail re the war on terror. But heeding the cautionary tale of “Enemy of the State” would have served us better.

The CCP is way ahead in the race for surveillance state singularity. Throughout much of China, the social scoring system is fully in place, fed mainly via each citizen’s required smart phone. Thus they can control all political, artistic, and economic thought of their citizens and punish those who don’t toe the party line. Now, in celebration of Trump’s downfall, Twitter and the like are suppressing free speech and ratting out the uncooperative. Big Tech is goose stepping right along with the CCP.

If you rent “Enemy of the State” today from Disney, when Will Smith actually says “nigger” you will instead hear him say “eggplant.” You’ve got to give whoever came up with “eggplant” points for whimsy. But in this construct, “eggplant’ can be substituted for any concept uncomfortable to the Party, not just the easily-offended or feeble-minded. You could just as easily substitute “eggplant” for “conservative,” “stop the steal,” “Trump voter,” and say, the “Bill of Rights.”  By the same token, “no evidence” can be expanded to mean “no evidence a judge in this world is brave enough to bring into court,” or “no evidence anyone on the left wants to see.” Or you can just say “eggplant.”

The takeaway is that we are indeed living 1984 when words don’t mean anything a la Newspeak. Big Brother is watching you. Go against the party line and you will be punished. If you don’t like it, tough eggplant.
